Cleary Gottlieb has been shortlisted for a 2019 Private Equity International Award: Law Firm of the Year in North America (Fund Formation).
Cleary’s funds team was recognized for having been involved in a number of mandates in 2019, including several TPG funds, KKR’s $2.5 billion second technology fund, and ongoing work advising the LPAC of Abraaj’s health care fund, following that firm’s liquidation.
Cleary also advised TPG in a $14 billion double fundraise for its eighth flagship fund, TPG Partners VIII, and its first health care side car fund, TPG Healthcare Partners, which is shortlisted for Fundraise of the Year.
