Cleary Gottlieb Shortlisted for 2026 Global Restructuring Review Awards

Cleary Gottlieb has been shortlisted for two awards for the 2026 Global Restructuring Review (GRR) Awards.

Cleary has been shortlisted in the following categories:

• Sovereign Debt Restructuring of the Year: For advising an ad hoc group of bondholders in the exchange of over $253 million in 12.5% senior secured amortizing bonds due this year that were issued by Saderea Limited, an Irish special purpose vehicle issuing debt to fund expenditure in Ghana’s health sector and backed by promissory notes issued by the Republic of Ghana and guaranteed by the Bank of Ghana.
• Latin American Practice of the Year: International

The GRR Awards recognize excellence in the global restructuring community, highlighting standout individuals and practices that have made a significant impact over the past year.

Winners will be announced on November 4, 2026.
