Cleary Gottlieb Shortlisted for Five IFLR1000 U.S. Awards 2020

Cleary Gottlieb has been shortlisted as a finalist for five 2020 IFLR1000 U.S. awards, including three Deals of the Year and two Teams of the Year.

Cleary was shortlisted for the following awards:

• Capital Markets Deal of the Year (Pinterest IPO)
• Capital Markets Deal of the Year (Starbucks double-tranche $2 billion sustainability notes)
• M&A Team of the Year
• Restructuring and Insolvency Deal of the Year (Energy Future Holdings debt restructuring)
• Restructuring and Insolvency Team of the Year

According to IFLR, “The awards celebrate the most innovative U.S. deals and the best-performing law firms and lawyers across the states in 2019, and recognize where firms and lawyers performed exceptionally locally and nationally.”

The winners will be announced on September 17, 2020.
