Cleary Gottlieb was recognized for “Equity Market Deal of the Year” byAsian Legal Business at the second annual ALB Philippine Awards, held on October 6 at the Makati Shangri-La in Manila.
Cleary was selected for the firm’s representation of CEMEX Holdings Philippines in its 25.1 billion peso ($535 million) initial public offering on the Philippine Stock Exchange. The IPO is the Philippines’ biggest since 2013. CEMEX Holdings Philippines is a unit of Mexican cement giant CEMEX.
The ALB Philippine Law Awards aim to “recognize and reward the outstanding performance of private practitioners and in-house teams that have significantly contributed to the ever-evolving legal landscape of the country.”
