Cleary Gottlieb Wins Chambers USA Award 2017 for Antitrust

Cleary Gottlieb has won a Chambers USA Award 2017 for Antitrust.

This marks the third time in the last six years that Cleary has been honored with the award, the other years being 2011 and 2015.

Chambers said of our work, “Maintains its unmatched reputation for producing work of the very highest caliber, regularly advising blue-chip companies during their most important mergers and in high-stakes civil and criminal antitrust litigation. The cross-border capabilities of the broad and multitalented roster of attorneys is especially complemented through its expertise in European antitrust matters.”

The award was announced on May 25 in New York City.

The awards, which are based on the year’s research for Chambers USA rankings, “reflect a law firm’s pre-eminence in key practice areas,” along with “notable achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service.”

Cleary was a finalist for its work in four categories:

  • Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation
  • Real Estate
