Cleary Gottlieb Wins Four China Business Law Journal Deal Awards

Four deals on which Cleary Gottlieb advised have won China Business Law Journal awards: one “Deal in China” and three “Overseas Deals” that were recognized as landmark transactions in 2020.

Cleary advised on the following outstanding China-related deals:

• Deal in China: Tencent’s financial adviser Goldman Sachs on Huya’s $10 billion merger with Douyu.
• Overseas Deal: Burning Rock Biotech in its $256 million Nasdaq listing.
• Overseas Deal: Joint sponsors and underwriters in JD Health’s HK$26.4 billion IPO in Hong Kong.
• Overseas Deal: Underwriters in MINISO’s $608 million IPO on the New York Stock Exchange
