Cleary Gottlieb Wins IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards 2022 ‘Private Equity Deal of the Year’

Cleary Gottlieb won “Private Equity Deal of the Year” at the IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards 2022 for advising China Biologic Products on its $4.76 billion take-private transaction. 

NASDAQ-listed China Biologic Products Holdings’ merged with the privately held company CBPO Group, which resulted in China Biologic Products becoming a wholly owned privatized subsidiary of CBPO.

China Biologic Products is a plasma-based biopharmaceutical company in China that works on the prevention and treatment of life-threatening diseases and immune-deficiency related diseases.
