March 5, 2020

Cleary Gottlieb’s Paris office hosted its International Women’s Day celebration, “Rencontres Plurielles.”

Cleary lawyers, along with clients and friends of the firm, came together to celebrate the social, economic, and cultural achievements of women.

The reception included a conversation with Pr. Françoise Denoyelle, professor at Necker-Enfants Malades hospital in Paris, and classical soprano singer Ellen Giacone. Hélène Zelany, journalist at Europe 1, led the conversation, which included a discussion of the speakers’ extraordinary career paths in the word of science, media, and the arts, their achievements, the challenges they have overcome, and their sources of inspiration and motivation.

The event was organized by Cleary partners Marie-Laurence Tibi and Séverine Schrameck, counsel Laurie Achtouk-Spivak and Jeanne Theuret, and senior attorney Caroline Hailey.
