Cleary Gottlieb represented Deutsche Post in its October 22nd listing of 556.4 million shares on the German stock exchanges. Cleary Gottlieb was initially counsel to the underwriters for the IPO of Deutsche Post in 2000. However, because of regulatory rules, only part of the registered share capital of Deutsche Post was admitted for trading on German stock exchanges at the time.
