Cleary Gottlieb is representing DP World in its acquisition of Cosmos Agencia Maritima (CAM) for $315.7 million.
The acquisition was announced on March 18, 2018, and is subject to regulatory approvals. In addition to the maritime and logistical services provided by the Cosmos group of companies, CAM has a 50 percent ownership in Terminales Portuários Euroandinos S.A., in the Port of Patia, Peru, the second-largest container terminal in Peru.
DP World is a leading port operator and operates several ports in South America, including a container terminal in the Port of Callao, Peru. CAM, based in Peru, owns a fully integrated logistical services business (Neptunia S.A. and Triton Transports S.A.) offering end-to-end solutions to its customers.
