Edison International’s $600 Million Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented Mizuho Securities USA LLC, MUFG Securities Americas Inc., and PNC Capital Markets LLC, as representatives of the underwriters, in an offering of $600 million 5.25% senior notes due 2028 by Edison International.

The offering priced on May 10, 2023, and is expected to close on May 15, 2023.

The net proceeds from the offering will be used for general corporate purposes. Cleary has been longtime designated underwriters’ counsel on securities offerings by Edison International and its subsidiary Southern California Edison.

Edison International is a public utility that, through its subsidiaries, is primarily engaged in the business of supplying and delivering electricity to an approximately 50,000 square mile area of Southern California.
