Cleary Gottlieb partner Ferdinando Emanuele was named “Lawyer of the Year” for National Arbitration and counsel Francesca Gesualdi was named “Lawyer of the Year” for Class Actions at the 2023 edition of the LegalCommunity Litigation Awards, held in Milan on September 14.
Ferdinando was noted for his practice, which “focuses on domestic and international litigation and arbitration, particularly in civil, commercial, and competition law. He has defended numerous Italian and foreign companies in complex litigation and arbitration proceedings. He is considered a star in this practice.”
Francesca was noted as “one of the pioneers in this specific area of litigation. Recently, she defended a well-known energy company in a class action lawsuit brought by some minority shareholders, managing to get it dismissed by the court.”
