Cleary Gottlieb partner Ferdinando Emanuele was named Italian Litigation and Arbitration Lawyer of the Year at the TopLegal Awards.
The nomination panel said of Ferdinando, “One the main actors in Italy, he won one of the most important international commercial arbitrations ever, achieving for Telecom Italia the rejection in full of a request for payment of more than 15 billion dollars.”
The tenth edition of the TopLegal Awards were presented in Milan on November 21, 2016.
TopLegal is the specialized trade journal covering the Italian legal market. The shortlist and the final award for each category were determined by TopLegal, together with a panel composed of the general counsel of leading Italian companies, as well as professionals from the worlds of finance, business and communications.
