Cleary Gottlieb is representing Gambro, a global medical technology company with its headquarters in Sweden, in the sale of its worldwide peritoneal dialysis business to Fresenius Medical Care of Germany. The transaction was signed on August 25 and announced on August 26.
The deal involves a complex spin-off of all assets and liabilities related to Gambro’s peritoneal dialysis business, which has activities in about 30 jurisdictions.
