NYSE Governance Services and FTI Consulting Inc. have included Cleary Gottlieb in their “2016 National Law Firms General Counsel Rankings.”
The list is part of the “16th Annual Best Corporate Law Firms” rankings, which collect feedback from general counsel and corporate directors from nearly 700 U.S. companies.
Cleary is one of 25 firms chosen by general counsel for exemplary outside counsel. NYSE and FTI note that for the companies polled for these rankings, “trusted outside legal counsel is of utmost importance . . . From industry-shaking technology advancements to the continued presence of activist investors, the need for expert legal advice and consulting has never been greater.”
