Grupo Aeroméxico’s Syndicated $250 Million Revolving Loan Agreement

Cleary Gottlieb represented BBVA México, as sole bookrunner, lead arranger, initial lender, and administrative agent, and the rest of the initial lenders in a $250 million senior secured revolving credit facility granted to Aerovías de México (Grupo Aeroméxico’s main operating subsidiary) and guaranteed by Grupo Aeroméxico and Aerolitoral.
Grupo Aeroméxico intends to use the proceeds from the loans for general corporate purposes. The facility, which refinances Grupo Aeroméxico’s existing revolving credit facility entered into in 2024, became effective on September 30, 2026.
Grupo Aeroméxico is Mexico’s flagship airline and a leader in Latin American aviation. Grupo Aeroméxico is a founding member of the SkyTeam Alliance along with Delta Air Lines, Air France, and Korean Air, and the only Mexican airline with a global alliance.
