Cleary Gottlieb represented Henkel AG & Co. KGaA, the German worldwide leading company in laundry & home care, cosmetics & toiletries and adhesive technologies products, in establishing a joint venture in Algeria with its Algerian partner, Faïences Algérienne Sarl. The transaction closed on February 7.
The Algerian joint venture will be active in the business of producing, marketing and distributing adhesive, sealant and other special products for the building sector in Algeria.
