Cleary Gottlieb represented ICAP plc, the world’s largest voice and electronic inter-dealer broker, in its acquisition of GovPX, Inc. The transaction, which was structured as a merger of an ICAP subsidiary into GovPX, closed today.
GovPX is a leading provider of U.S. fixed income and derivative information for worldwide distribution via major market data vendors, including Bloomberg and Reuters. It was founded by major bond dealers and inter-dealer brokers in 1990 to address price transparency issues in the U.S. Treasury marketplace.
