Cleary Gottlieb represented UBS and Itaú as underwriters (UBS acted as global coordinator and lead manager) in the Rule 144A/Reg S offering of 15,903,694 shares of common stock of Iguatemi Empresa de Shopping Centers S.A. The shares were listed on the São Paulo Stock Exchange. This offering, which closed on March 1, was Iguatemi’s first equity offering in the Brazilian and international capital markets.
Iguatemi is one of the largest full service companies in the shopping-center sector in Brazil.
