Cleary Gottlieb mourns the loss of associate Mayar Dahabieh, who passed away on March 31.
“Mayar was an enthusiastic and highly valued member of our international arbitration team, as well as a wonderful colleague and friend,” Managing Partner Mark Leddy said. “She will be dearly missed by all of her Cleary family.”
Mayar Dahabieh joined Cleary’s Paris office as an intern and then as an associate in 2013. Mayar was from Syria, grew up in Ghana and studied in France and the U.S. before joining Cleary.
Mayar represented the diversity and commitment that Cleary cherishes, and we will strive to carry on her legacy by continuing to embrace those values.
