Indonesia in $2 Billion Debt Offering

March 9, 2006

Cleary Gottlieb represented the Republic of Indonesia in a Rule 144A/Reg. S offering of $2 billion in debt securities.  Barclays Capital, J.P. Morgan and UBS were joint lead managers in the offering.

Indonesia split the transaction between a $1 billion tranche of eleven-year bonds and a $1 billion tranche of thirty-year bonds.  The thirty-year bonds were a reopening of a series of bonds issued last year, in which Cleary represented Indonesia.
