Internazionale Holding in Exit from FC Internazionale Milano

On June 28, 2016, Suning Holdings Group acquired a majority stake in F.C. Internazionale Milano (Inter Milan).

This comes following the announcement on June 6, 2016, of the signing of a strategic partnership between Inter Milan and Suning Holdings Group. Inter Milan  has been one of the world’s leading football clubs since its founding in 1908.

Internazionale Holding ceased to be a shareholder, and former President Massimo Moratti exited the club after many years of success winning prestigious trophies, including the “Triplete” in 2010.

International Sports Capital (the previous controlling shareholder) became a minority shareholder in the club, and Erick Thohir retained his position as president of Inter Milan.
