In a recent judgment, the Court of Rome upheld the procedural objections of Toscana Energia (an Italgas group company) and consequently declared its lack of jurisdiction over the significant claims for damages brought by an operator in the natural gas supply sector in a lawsuit concerning public services operated under a monopoly regime and the hosting service contract.
