Johnson Controls in Closing of $1.6 Billion Acquisition of Air Distribution Technologies

Cleary Gottlieb represented Johnson Controls in its acquisition of Air Distribution Technologies from Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) for approximately $1.6 billion. The transaction was announced on April 16, 2014 and closed on June 16, 2014. Cleary acted as both M&A and antitrust counsel on the deal.
