JPMorgan Asset Management in Sale of Gávea Investimentos

Cleary Gottlieb is representing JPMorgan Asset Management in the sale of its entire stake in Gávea Investimentos, a Brazilian investment management firm, to Gávea’s original founders. As part of the transaction, Gávea’s real estate funds and equities funds businesses will be transferred to JPMorgan, while Gávea will retain its hedge funds and private equity funds businesses. The deal signed on December 28, 2015 and is expected to close during the first quarter of 2016.
