Cleary Gottlieb represented Kindred Healthcare, a publicly traded national operator of hospitals and nursing centers, in the negotiation of amendments to its master lease agreements with Ventas.
The amendments facilitate the transition of seven long term acute care hospitals to Curahealth, LLC. In addition to the Ventas facilities, Kindred agreed to transfer five other hospitals to Curahealth, for a total transfer of 783 licensed beds in various states across the country.
