Korea Gas Corporation’s $500 Million GMTN Takedown

Cleary Gottlieb represented Barclays, BofA Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs International, J.P. Morgan and UBS, as joint bookrunners and joint lead managers, in a Rule 144A/Reg S offering of $500 million 3.875% Notes due 2024 by Korea Gas Corporation under its $8 billion Global Medium Term Note Program. The notes were listed on the Singapore Exchange. The offering priced on February 6 and closed on February 12.

Korea Gas Corporation was incorporated in 1983 by the Korean government to facilitate the development of the natural gas industry in Korea. It is the largest importer of liquefied natural gas in the world and the only wholesale distributor of natural gas in Korea.
