Lafarge in $446 Million Divestiture of Cement and Concrete Assets

Cleary Gottlieb is representing Lafarge in the sale of cement, concrete and aggregates assets in Missouri and Oklahoma to Eagle Materials for $446 million. The assets sold include cement plants in Kansas City, Missouri, and Tulsa, Oklahoma, having a total cement capacity of 1.6 million tons, along with associated cement terminals. Lafarge is also selling its ready-mix concrete and aggregates operations in Kansas City. The transaction was announced on September 26.
