Cleary Gottlieb partner Jorge Juantorena has been named “International Lawyer of the Year” by Latin Lawyer.
In its profile on Jorge, Latin Lawyer said, “The capital markets partner has been involved in some of the largest equity and debt offerings in Latin America,” and highlighted his work advising Mexican state-owned oil group Pemex in several transactions over the years, totaling more than $70 billion in global offerings. Latin Lawyer also noted Jorge’s work for the Republic of Mexico, Mexican conglomerate Orbia, and the Republic of Chile.
