Lead Investor in Recapitalization of Flywheel Sports

Cleary Gottlieb is representing the Benvolio Group, the investment arm of the family of Lew Frankfort, the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Coach, Inc., which led and coordinated a group of high profile investors in a recapitalization of Flywheel Sports, one of the world’s fastest growing indoor cycling brands. Other members of the investor group include private equity firms, such as Catterton Partners and Global Endowment Management, and a number of preeminent consumer and real estate sector leaders and entrepreneurs. The transaction closed on March 31.
