Legend Holdings in $2 Billion Hong Kong IPO

Cleary Gottlieb represented Legend Holdings Corporation in its HK$15.2 billion (approximately $2 billion) initial public offering. China International Capital Corporation, UBS, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley served as joint global coordinators and joint bookrunners. The deal priced on June 21, and closed and the shares began trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on June 29, 2015.

Legend Holdings is a leading Chinese investment group and the largest shareholder of Lenovo, the world’s largest PC company. Its other businesses include companies in the financial services, modern services, agriculture and food, property, and chemicals and energy materials segments.
