Levi Strauss in Proposed IPO

Cleary Gottlieb is representing shareholders of Levi Strauss & Co., who consist primarily of the descendants of the family of Levi Strauss and their relatives, in connection with the company’s proposed initial public offering, including amendments to the governance structure of the company, the adoption of a dual class capital structure, the grant of registration rights to the shareholders, and other matters relating to the proposed IPO.

The company publicly filed its registration statement on February 13, 2019.

Levi Strauss founded the iconic American apparel company in 1853 and invented blue jeans 20 years later.
