LifeLock Acquired by Symantec for $2.3 Billion

Cleary Gottlieb is representing Goldman Sachs as financial advisor to LifeLock, Inc. in its sale to Symantec Corp. for $24 in cash per share, or $2.3 billion in enterprise value.

The deal signed on November 20, 2016, and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2017, subject to customary closing conditions including approval by the LifeLock stockholders.

LifeLock is a leading provider of proactive identity theft protection services for consumers and consumer risk management services for enterprises. Symantec is a leading cybersecurity company.
