Cleary Gottlieb is advising Macintosh Retail Group, a Euronext Amsterdam listed company, in its proposed recommended tender offer for Brantano NV. Brantano is Belgium’s leading shoe retailer in Belgium, and the largest out-of-town shoe retailer in the UK.
The transaction, which values Brantano at €160 million, is one of the first tender offers to take place under the new Belgian takeover code.
