Cleary Gottlieb partner Maurice Gindi and counsel Sophie Smith have been named among the top 20 Legal Rising Stars for 2023 by Private Funds CFO magazine.
Maurice was celebrated for his work representing Blackstone and TPG in multiple fund formation matters. Sophie was recognized for sparking a “transformation of the London office’s private investment funds practice” and “expanding the firm’s relationships with its existing funds clients.”
The list recognizes individuals under the age of 40 considered to be rising stars working within the legal industry on matters involving private funds.
