Cleary Gottlieb is representing McCormick & Company in its acquisition of the food business of British conglomerate Reckitt Benckiser Group Plc for $4.2 billion in cash.
The Reckitt Benckiser food business is comprised of the French’s, Frank’s RedHot, Cattlemen’s and Tiger’s Milk brands; French’s brand mustard is the best-selling mustard in the United States.
The transaction, which was announced on July 18, 2017, was completed on August 17, 2017.
