MercadoLibre in $1.55 Billion Equity Offering

Cleary Gottlieb acted as counsel to MercadoLibre Inc. (MercadoLibre) in a $1.55 billion public common stock offering.

The offering priced on November 15, 2021, and is expected to close on November 18, 2021.

Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs & Co., and J.P. Morgan acted as joint bookrunners for the offering. In connection with the offering, the underwriters have an option to exercise a 30-day overallotment option for an additional 150,000 shares of the company’s common stock.
