Mexico in $4 Billion Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented the United Mexican States (Mexico) in a registered offering of $1.25 billion principal amount of its 5.4% global bonds due 2028 and $2.75 billion principal amount of its 6.35% global bonds due 2035.

The offering launched and priced on January 3, 2023, and is expected to close on January 9, 2023. Mexico intends to use the net proceeds from the sale of the bonds for its general financing purposes.

BBVA Securities Inc., BNP Paribas Securities Corp., BofA Securities Inc., and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC acted as underwriters for the bond offering.
