Minority Stakeholders in Tradeweb IPO

Cleary Gottlieb is acting as counsel to a group of banks who hold minority interests in Tradeweb, including Barclays, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Morgan Stanley, RBS, UBS, and Wells Fargo, in connection with the electronic market operator’s upcoming IPO.

The Form S-1 registration statement was filed with the SEC on March 7, 2019.

The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined. Underwriters include JPMorgan, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley. The current majority owner, Refinitiv, will retain a controlling interest in Tradeweb following the IPO, which will take place on the Nasdaq.
