Minority Stakeholders in Tradeweb IPO

Cleary Gottlieb is acting as counsel to a group of banks who hold minority interests in Tradeweb Markets (Tradeweb), including Barclays; Citigroup; Credit Suisse; Deutsche Bank; Goldman Sachs; JPMorgan; Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Morgan Stanley; RBS; UBS; and Wells Fargo, in connection with the company’s IPO.

The roadshow for its initial public offering commenced on March 25, 2019.

Tradeweb is offering 27,268,767 shares of its Class A common stock at an initial public offering price between $24 and $26 per share. Underwriters include JPMorgan, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley. The current majority owner, Refinitiv, will retain a controlling interest in Tradeweb following the IPO, which will take place on the Nasdaq.
