Cleary Gottlieb partner Nallini Puri has been named a Private Equity Rising Star in London by LegalWeek.
The publication profiled the most promising “up-and-comers” at top UK and international law firms in London who made partner in 2015 or later, with a few “hotly tipped” associates also making the cut.
Nallini was lauded for her work advising coffee giant Lavazza on its acquisition of Mars Drinks. She also offered her thoughts on what is currently the most challenging aspect of working in private equity, noting that one needs to be “not just an adviser but a trusted partner who clients turn to, to help navigate them through complex situations.”
