New CEO and COO in Appointment Negotiations with the Cavalli Group

Cleary Gottlieb assisted Gianluca Brozzetti and Carlo Di Biagio in the negotiations relating to their respective appointments as Group Chief Executive Officer and Group Chief Operating Officer of the Cavalli Group.

On September 16, Roberto Cavalli, the famous designer and founder of the group, announced the appointment of Mr. Brozzetti and Mr. Di Biagio as a strategic transaction regarded as an alternative to the sale of group shares to a new financial partner. The newly appointed managers have extensive experience as top executives in multinational groups and primary corporations in the luxury and fashion industries. The new CEO and COO will lead the group through a process of reorganization and refocusing on its core activities, as agreed upon between the managers, Roberto Cavalli and his wife, Eva.

The Cavalli brand is among the most famous in the fashion industry, and the Cavalli brand products, which include womenswear, menswear, shoes and jewelry, are distributed in over 50 countries.
