Cleary Gottlieb is representing Nokia in its acquisition of gate5, a supplier of mapping, routing and navigation software and services. The transaction is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2006.
Nokia, which is headquartered in Finland, reported net sales of €35.2 billion in 2005 and employs approximately 60,000 people worldwide.
gate5 was founded in Berlin in 1999 and employs around 70 people.
