Cleary Gottlieb is representing Pacific Woodtech Corporation (Pacific Woodtech) in its acquisition of the engineered wood products business of Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (Louisiana-Pacific).
The transaction signed on June 21, 2022. The completion of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory reviews and is expected to occur in the third quarter of 2022.
Pacific Woodtech was founded in 1998 and is a major producer of laminated veneer lumber (LVL) and I-joists in the western United States. Louisiana-Pacific’s engineered wood products business specializes in manufacturing I-joists, LVL, and other related products, including plywood, and is one of the top three manufacturers of I-joists and LVL in North America.
