Pampa Energía and Fértil Pampa in $300 Million Credit Facility

October 6, 2026

Cleary Gottlieb represented Pampa Energía S.A. (Pampa) and its subsidiary Fértil Pampa S.A.U. (Fértil Pampa) in a $300 million term loan facility with Itaú Unibanco S.A. Nassau Branch, acting as lender and administrative agent.

The credit facility was signed on October 1, 2026, and may be funded in multiple disbursements during the availability period.

Proceeds of the facility will be used to finance the development of a 6,000 metric tons per day (MTPD) granulated urea production plant in Argentina, a project that has been admitted to Argentina’s Incentive Regime for Large Investments (RIGI) as a long-term strategic export project.

Pampa is a leading independent energy integrated company in Argentina, participating in the electricity and the gas value chains, engaged in the generation and transmission of electricity, oil and gas exploration and production, petrochemicals, hydrocarbon commercialization and transportation, and oil refining and distribution.

The Cleary corporate team included partners Juan Giráldez and Ignacio Lagos, associate Pedro Arango Montes, and international lawyer Matias Chaves. Partner Matthew Brigham and associates Mingyu Tang and Yoolim Lee advised on tax matters.
