Cleary Gottlieb represented Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) and its finance subsidiary, PETRONAS Capital Limited (PCL), in an update of their $15 billion global medium-term note program (GMTN), which was completed in March 2020.
Cleary also represented PETRONAS and PCL in a $6 billion Rule 144A/Reg. S guaranteed notes offering under the GMTN program. The notes offering priced on April 14, 2020, and closed on April 21, 2020, and the notes were listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Bursa Malaysia, and the Labuan International Financial Exchange.
