RCN to Acquire Wave Broadband for $2.36 Billion

Cleary Gottlieb is representing RCN Telecom Services, a nationwide broadband service provider, in its $2.36 billion acquisition of Wave Broadband.

RCN and Wave will combine to create the nation’s sixth-largest cable operator, with a diversified presence across seven of the top 10 cities in the U.S.

Wave is a regional broadband fiber company offering a full suite of high-speed data, video and voice services to residential and business customers.
