Reed Krakoff in Acquisition of the Reed Krakoff Business from Coach

Cleary Gottlieb represented fashion designer Reed Krakoff in the acquisition of the Reed Krakoff business from Coach, Inc. The transaction was announced on July 30.

Coach is a leading American marketer of fine accessories and gifts for men and women, including bags, wearables, footwear, jewelry, sunwear, travel bags, watches and fragrances. The Reed Krakoff brand, introduced by Coach in 2008, represents “New American” luxury and encompasses all women’s categories, with a focus on ready-to-wear, handbags, accessories, footwear and jewelry.
