Cleary Gottlieb counsel Romi Lepetska has been named among the UK’s 25 best up-and-coming female lawyers by Law.com International in its Female Rising Stars 2024 list.
Romi was recognized for representing Broadcom on the global antitrust aspects of its $87 billion acquisition of VMware, one of the largest ever tech transactions and a deal that saw her client become one of the world’s leading infrastructure technology companies. She was also lauded for her work representing Phillip Morris in its appeal against the Dutch and Belgian competition authorities’ initial indirect exchange of information decisions. Clients have also added that “Romi is unflappable, has a welcome sense of humor, and a tenacious appetite to best serve her clients.”
The Female Rising Stars 2024 list represents the top 25 women aged under 40 who are “the UK legal industry’s most outstanding up-and-coming female lawyers” and who are poised “to spearhead the next generation of leading partners.”
