Roquette Completes Acquisition of IFF Pharma Solutions

Cleary Gottlieb represented Roquette in the completion of its acquisition of the Pharma Solutions segment of International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF).

The acquisition signed on March 19, 2024, and closed on May 1, 2025.

Headquartered in France, Roquette is a global leader in plant-based ingredients and a leading provider of pharmaceutical excipients. Founded in 1933, the company currently operates in more than 100 countries and employs almost 10,000 people worldwide. Roquette’s products find applications in food and nutrition, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals and cosmetics, animal nutrition, and industrial markets.
