Cleary Gottlieb is representing Roquette Frères S.A. in its acquisition of Sethness Products Company.
The deal signed in early July 2018, and it is expected to close in the third quarter of 2018.
Founded in 1880, and headquartered in Skokie, Illinois, Sethness Products Company produces a large selection of caramel colors (in liquid and powdered forms) as well as a variety of clean-label caramel color options. Roquette and Sethness currently operate two successful joint ventures in France and China. Sethness also has operations in the United States and India.
